@FlightSimulatorXATC obviously not, it’s an aircraft, all electronic devices switched off for take off and landing lol. it’s a load of crap anyway for anything that DOESN’T emit a signal…

Did you get that seat by first come first serve basis. I really want to fly on a 737 where I can see the engine???

does southwest let you film during this process?

@ChophouseProductions well it depends on what sound irritates you most, if you sit in front of the engine, you get a kind of high pitched whine. if you are sitting behind it, you get the roar from the back of the engine, imo i like the front, as you get to hear that beautiful sound on takeoff, but you get a much better view of the flaps and the wing on landing, so its purely personal preference…

Lol, I’m hoping the same. Hoping that not many people have tried that new earlybird check-in. Because no matter what, I will check in 24 hours prior, but with that new program in effect, it may be harder to get an A. When are you flying?

that’s weird. lol i kinda want the very last seat. i never have an issue with the traffic or smell, or the non-recline. i’m just in it for the ride i love it. i’m hoping when i check in to get boarding group A, so i can board first and look around for the nonstop 2 hour and 15 minute flight.

It’s not terribly loud. 73G’s have relatively quiet engines. The loudest seat on the plane will probably be in row 5 or 6, and even that you’re a few rows away from. By the way– I’m having the same problem with selecting seats.. haha!

was it loud sitting in front of the engine? i’m flying CMH-TPA with them, and i know it’s open seating, but i don’t know where i want to sit when i get on the plane. it’s a 737-700
