/ February 11, 2013Those regulatory bureaucracies are just going to get lobbied by the fortune 400 corporations in order to make their own regulations and kill competition. All you can do is minimize the government and enforce private property laws and prosecute banks who commit fraud. The problem is all the politicians are bought and corrupted but they wouldn’t be so corrupt if government had less power, simply because the fortune 400 corporations wouldn’t lobby as they do now

Also it’s called freedom. We can’t allow freedom and then prohibit it somewhere else as long as they aren’t stealing, commiting fraud or violating any other law.
If they want to merge let them merge. If they raise prices to much watch other banks form and steal their customers. It’s that simple. It’s called competition.
